Identify something that you think best demonstrates web 2.0 and explain why
In my opinion, blogs best demonstrates Web 2.0. Blog owners maintain their own website with written entries regularly. Of which can include commentaries, photos, or videos. Since Web 2.0 can be defined as web applications that enable the interactive sharing of information, online communities, and social networking, blogs are a prime example.
Blog owners are sharing information as they change their website content by posting. Readers/subscribers can then interactively engage with the posted entries by commenting and linking back to their blog. Bloggers can also interact with other bloggers and its audience. Blogs can act as online communities and social networking websites because community and social networks can be built amongst bloggers with common interests and activities. This is a major shift from websites that could only be viewed passively because viewers are no longer passive.
